Countdown to the VT100
There are only a few days left now before the Vermont 100. Last year's race saw a great battle among the men, with Michael Arnstein passing Leigh Schmitt about 92 miles in and holding on for the win. On the women's side, Serena Wilcox finished more than an hour ahead of her closest competition. In all 197 people made it to the finish line before the 30-hour cutoff.
For some reason, the Vermont 100 seems to inspire some pretty dramatic race reports by participants. Here are a few from the past two years to get you excited about following (or running) this year's race.
