adventure running, anyone?
I'm wondering if there are other people who are interested in doing some adventure runs. I'm thinking maybe of a club kind of like Willem Lange's Geriatric Adventure Society . For instance, I'd like to do a rim to rim run of the Grand Canyon,. I'm open to ideas! For me the focus would be on adventure, fun and comaradary. I'm not a fast runner, but I'd like to start working on that bucket list. Here's my email: susanbots@yahoo.com.

Would love too!
Put the white rim trail in Utah on that list as well. Lets put together a few dates and locations Susan and put it out to the masses!

I've been trying to plan
I've been trying to plan something around here before the weather turns too bad. Have been looking at the Cross Rivendell Trail. 37 miles, ends at the top of Cube (so you have to add 3 more to get back down unless you croak at the top). Might be a nice one-day adventure. There is also the Pemi Loop-that's on my list for next summer. Presi Traverse this summer was excellent, absolutely phenomenal as Chad knows.
October 15th Weekend
Lets do it!! Can we plan for the October 15th weekend for some kind of cool adventure run? Sunday?? pemi or cross rivendale, you guys pick!
I have my 50 miler coming up in a few weeks so the timing is perfect!
thanks Martin and Susan for initiating!!
